as you can see, the closed trades were often losers, but profitable trades stayed open for a long time. Now we know we can't bank on open equity, but at least its going in the right direction!
When I started beginning of 2010, I was nervous as the market had tanked but I knew if I didn't start soon I would miss a potential large recovery. In the end I reviewed my position sizing to match my desired drawdown & off I went...
