Dell EMC launched the next generation of its Data Domain appliances and rechristened it the Dell PowerProtect DD Series. Aside from making the hardware bigger, denser and faster, Dell also upgraded the PowerProtect software with a new air-gapped vault feature and improved integration with VMware vSphere.
