| | Why I Switched from Hortonworks to MapR: Cequint Gives Clarity | | | | | | Hi David,
I tried Hortonworks and it was an epic fail. Join me on May 30 and I’ll tell you why. As a leading provider of handset and carrier data services to the major US wireless carriers, Cequint needs to make sense of large amounts of machine-generated data. We do this to evaluate the performance of our systems and predict possible problems early. We tried using Hortonworks NiFi (now the core of Cloudera Flow Management) to ingest this data, but it simply did not work. We switched to MapR and it’s been rock solid for almost a year now. MapR uniquely allows us to ingest data via NFS, affording us the simplicity and common usage pattern we sorely needed. In this webinar, you’ll learn about Cequint’s current and planned use cases with MapR, as well as how MapR powers these use cases with unique and powerful dataware capabilities.
Regards,
