There are many different types of managed IT service offerings, but the idea behind all of them is to transfer the burden of maintaining IT from the customer to the service provider. A service provider can charge for a managed IT service in a number of ways, including per-device, per-user and all-inclusive pricing. Managed IT services are typically billed as flat fees on a regularly scheduled basis, and monthly billing cycles are a common approach.
