Power to weight ratio and tuning your metabolic efficiency

Hey David,

This article was written for the Peaks Challenge events but it's very relevant if you are interested in losing a little weight and improving your metabolic efficiency on longer rides.

While cyclists get fanatical about getting the lightest wheel and bike, the real savings can be made much cheaper and result in a far greater gain in performance.

All you have to do is focus on losing a few of those extra kilograms of body weight that you are carrying around, then watch your hill climbing improve out of sight.
